About Oklahoma Community Justice Network

Our Mission

The Oklahoma Community Justice Network (OCJN) believes the justice system should be accessible and understandable for all. We train and support frontline partners in trusted community-based organizations to identify legal issues, surface unmet legal needs, and access legal protections and resources for those they serve. OCJN empowers Oklahomans to interact with the civil justice system more effectively, confidently, and with fairer outcomes.

The Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation partnered with Legal Link, a California-based nonprofit, to bring Legal Link's unique Legal First Aid™ curriculum to Oklahoma. Legal Link provided technical assistance, tailored curriculum, and a Train-the-Trainers program that allowed OKCJN to build out its first community navigator program, which will bring critically needed capacity to the legal ecosystem.
